The annual end-of-year Heights Student Farmer's Market is coming up this Wednesday, May 23, after school (2:45 - 3:30 or sold out)! The Garden Club is hard at work harvesting their produce of onions, potatoes and a variety of greens and herbs. We will also have transplants for sale at $1 per 4 inch pot, many if which were planted from seed by Garden Club students. All proceeds go directly back to support our school garden. But mainly, the students love the opportunity to show what they've grown, so come check it out!
Some of the items that will be available for sale include:

During the Fall, families generously donated old and used electronics for a PTA sponsored electronics recycling drive. Thanks to that effort, the money earned was put to good use to purchase a beautiful Lacey Oak tree, which was planted in front of our school near the garden. Thank you for caring for our environment and planning for the long term beauty of our school!
