Richardson Heights Elementary is very grateful to Preservation Tree Service for generously donating their time, workmanship and arborological expertise to our school. On Monday, January 7th, their crew spent most of the day trimming and re-shaping the magnificent oak that is the heart of the school's interior courtyard. Surrounded by the school building on all four sides, the oak has been a challenge to prune and had become over grown, especially on the hard-to-reach limb ends that hung over the school's roof. Proper pruning by trained arborists will ensure not only the long term health and beauty of the tree itself, but also the health of the smaller trees and plants under its canopy, that will now thrive with the increased light and air circulation. Preservation Tree Service did this work at no cost to our school - a very generous donation worth over $1200 in manpower and expertise!
From our students, staff, teachers and families, we thank you Preservation Tree Service!"
The teachers and staff at Heights Elementary would like to send a very special "Thank You" to the anonymous family that generously paid to clear all student lunchroom balances. Those students and families can now begin the 2019 year without the worry of owing the cafeteria for unpaid lunches. Thank You for your thoughtfulness and generosity!
The Heights PTA is calling for a Special Meeting to announce budget amendments. This meeting will take place on Monday, December 3rd at 2:40pm in front of the school, by the flag pole. All PTA members are invited to attend.
