Kindergarten Round-Up is February 28th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Everyone will meet in the C hall to provide families the opportunity to visit the book fair in the library. If you know any incoming students in the neighborhood, please spread the word!

Meet the Teachers - From 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. your Wee Wildcats (that’s what we call our incoming kindergarteners) will explore their inner artist with Heights art teacher Ms. Theo and will get fit with Heights PE coach, Coach Sandy. Visit our Wee Wildcat page for a full calendar of events.
RHS Environmental Club will be hosting Master Gardener Roseann Ferguson, to speak about the propagation and growing of succulent plants. The free one hour presentation will be held in the LMC starting at 4:30 p.m. sharp.
Online Enrollment Opens for all current students in KG through 6. Parents must have Focus Parent Portal account to complete the enrollment.
Dad's Night Out at Alamo Draft House - Heights dads are invited to get together for our first Dad’s Night Out starting at 7 p.m. Show up and meet other dads from Heights Elementary!
Our librarian, Mrs Nowacki, needs help with the Scholastic Book Fair (February 27 to March 3) she holds to raise money to help keep her bookshelves stocked. Click Here to volunteer and help.
On February 27, online enrollment opens for current RISD Students. Parents may enroll online, or may return 2017-18 registration materials in person to their child’s school. Online enrollment is not available for 2017-18 Kindergarteners, students new to RISD in any grade level. To enroll online, an active Focus parent account is required. The last day to enroll online is May 19.
Calling all Heights moms, grandmas, aunts, sisters, and other female role models: YOU are invited to come enjoy a free breakfast with your student on March 2nd in School's Cafeteria from 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. There will be food, drinks, and conversations with other moms.

A HUGE thank you for everyone that came for our Saturday Work Day on 2/11. We had a great turn out and accomplished a great deal. Also, a very big thank you to all of the RHS students for helping! We are excited about the opportunity to collaborate with RHS to both benefit our garden program and support their students.

The Beautification / Gardens team, with help from the Heights Dads' Club, will meet to work on a few projects this Saturday, February 11 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. They plan to tackle set-up of a three-bin compost system in the school's vegetable garden, installation of an arched trellis for growing vining plants and a few other small projects. They sure could use some help and would love to have you join them!
