Parent Education Drug Awareness Talk is on Tuesday, October 24 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Free pizza and childcare will be provided for elementary-age students! Doors open for pizza at 6pm. At 6:30, parents hear local karate master Wes Melton speak on self advocacy and raising kids who know how to say no to peer pressure, while kids get to participate in free karate!
We need your help in raising the remaining $4 thousand to reach our goal for the Heights Community Campaign. Funds raised will finance Heights PTA operations. They will also be used to fund the new STAR Teacher Fund, which has been created to enable classroom teachers request distributions to help meet their classroom needs.
If you own a business or know of any businesses interested in supporting our neighborhood school, please give them this Business Letter.
To give as a parent of Heights student or as a community member, please read this Community Letter.

We are only $5,250 away from reaching our direct donation goal of $10,000 by October 20th! Heights PTA is asking for $20 per student, if possible, but please give what you can! Donations are 100% tax-free, and are free from overhead, which means 100% of your donation goes toward enhancing our students' Heights experience.
Heights PTA hopes to raise enough money to subsidize the newly created STAR Teacher Fund. Throughout the year, teachers will be able to submit special requests to the Heights PTA to cover items such as classroom equipment, field trip expenses, and books. The STAR Teacher Fund will enable the PTA to fund these requests.
Please turn in the Donation Sheet to the Heights office or your child’s teacher by Friday, October 20, 2017. Thank you for your support! To see the breakdown of all that is funded by the Community Campaign, please Click Here>>
