The combined symphony orchestras of Richardson High School and Pearce High School and the All District Elementary Choir will be performing a concert for our 5th graders on Thursday, December 1st at 10:00 AM at RHS. Heights students get to see musical instruments in action and participate in musical contests.
On December 12th, Heights Elementary will be holding eleventh annual Career Day! This is a fun, energetic and educational event for our students. All parents and community members are encouraged to come and do a 30 minute presentation in a classroom about their career. There are no strict guidelines on how to lay out this presentation and kids will be thrilled to hear about your experience. Come share your cultural heritage thru international food, music and crafts with Heights Elementary families on December 1 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Get Ready, Set, RUN!!! Bring your whole family for our very first Fall Fun Run! This wonderful event to promote our kids' health and fitness will take place on November 18th during specials. Each grade level will run or walk as many laps as possible in 30 minutes. Our beloved Coach Sandy is reaching out to all parents to come and cheer for our kiddos. We believe the environment needs our help no matter how small and Heights PTA invites you to celebrate America Recycles Day on November 15. All students will be signing a poster and pledging to recycle on that and every day!

Heights PTA wrapped up another successful "Donuts with Dudes" event! We had a great turnout of dads, grandpas, uncles and other father figures to join their child for donuts and drinks. Don't forget that Spirit Week at Haystack Burgers and Barley begins today and goes until November 10th. If you have never been to Haystack Burgers, you are missing out! Restaurant has many scrumptious dining options that will have you covered for every day of the week. This week, Haystack will generously donate 20% of your purchases to the Heights PTA. Just remember to put your receipt in the jar at the counter and write your student's teacher's name on the receipt. Classroom with the greatest participation gets a catered lunch from Haystack.
