When students encounter the inhumanity of the Holocaust, they realize that it was perpetrated by people just like them who turned a blind eye to the suffering of those around them. Studying the history of the Holocaust, encourages them to think through some of the most fundamental questions about human nature. On April 10th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Asst. Director of Education from Dallas Holocaust Museum, Dr. Charlotte Decoster will talk about the importance of choice consequences and how to open up minds, one person at a time. To challenge them to think critically and become UPSTANDERS.
While parents are listening to the speaker, kids will have fun exploring supervised science stations set up in school's cafeteria.
